Direct Car Rentals in Barbados is a family-owned and operated company that offers Jeeps, Mini Mokes, vans and air-conditioned sedans for short and long-term rental. Our friendly staff will meet customers at the airport or deliver the vehicles to any local address at no additional cost. Our customers are also provided with detailed maps of the island and directions to their destination.

  • Visitor's permit REQUIRED to drive in Barbados at a cost of $5.00/permit. Available at delivery.

    **CDW**
  • All vehicles are covered by insurance including unlimited liability for passengers and third party personal injury coverage. Below are the Collision Damage Waivers (CDW) that we offer. 1 Basic - US$5.00 per day, responsibility for damages is reduced to US$1000.00, providing the vehicle is operated in accordance with all conditions of our contract. 2 Special - US$10.00 per day, responsibility for damages is reduced to US$750.00, providing the vehicle is operated in accordance with all conditions of our contract. 3 Ultimate - US$17.00 per day, responsibility for damages is reduced to zero, providing the vehicle is operated in accordance with all conditions of our contract. *CDW decline is not optional. *A credit card is held for these CDW plans and is destroyed at the end of the rental once there is no damage to the vehicle.

  • General Terms

    **Age Requirement**
  • Drivers must be over 21 and under 70 years of age. Each driver must have held a valid driving license for at least three years.

    **Additional Drivers**
  • We allow 2 drivers per vehicle on contract at no additional cost for the 2nd driver; 2 additional drivers may be added at a cost of US$25.00 per driver, capping off at 4 drivers in total per vehicle.

    **Payment **
  • •Payment is made for the hire at the time of delivery, and we accept credit cards (Visa, Discover or Mastercard; NO AMERICAN EXPRESS), local and foreign cash (U.S., Canadian or Sterling) or travellers cheques.

    **Cancellation Policy**
  • Separate from Caribbean Cars cancellation policy on the deposit amount- A minimum of 72 hours notice is required for cancellations or adjustments of bookings; in the event of this not being done, your credit card will be run in the amount of the full rental fee quoted.

    **CDW Terms**
  • Damages covered by the CDW include all dents, scrapes or scratches to the body of the vehicle; broken or cracked exterior mirrors; windows and lights. The CDW does not cover torn or soiled upholstery, damage to the stereo and antenna, wheel tools and accessories, depletion of battery life due to negligence or damage to rims and tires. The CDW plan is void in the event of the following: use of the vehicle for any activities listed as restricted; the damage or loss was caused intentionally; an unauthorized driver driving the vehicle; the loss or damage occurred because the driver, whether authorized or not, was impaired by the use of alcohol or drugs.
